It is a great day here at the ranch. It's cold, but the sun is shinning. It has been kind of quiet and that is always a blessing. We are praying that you are healthy, happy, and enjoying what God is doing in your life.
Please continue to pray for Melody Baker, house-mom. She is getting stronger.
Pray for Lori Cunningham. Lori works with the girls in the school, assists Jeff with school admin, and even helps me on occasion. She and John have been doing double duty covering as house-parents for the girls at Hidden Valley. She is sick today. They are both working hard and going above and beyond the call. Please pray the the Lord would grant them both a special measure of His grace during this time and cover them for the remainder of this time.
We do need house-parents for girls, as you can see. Please pray that we will have the wisdom to select the correct couple when they call.
Finally please pray for me that I will be wise and discerning with regard to our finances in the coming days. We all need to be wise stewards and not worry about this stuff, but when things get a little tight I do tend to do just that. I know that this is God's ministry. It always has been. He will provide for it. He always has, for almost 25 years. So why do I worry? It is just a human desire to have things where I can see them I suppose. So Pray for my wisdom and my rest in the provision of the Lord.
